Rome, Dec. 12 (LaPresse) – At least 12 people have died in the last 24 hours in Gaza due to Storm Byron. Al Jazeera reports that numerous tents in refugee camps in the Palestinian enclave have collapsed. Civil defense teams, Wafa reports, have said that around 15 houses have collapsed across the Gaza Strip so far. “The teams continue to deal with the aftermath of the collapses and search for survivors despite the difficult weather conditions.”
