Turin, 17 December (LaPresse) – The peace plan drawn up by the United States and its allies to deter future Russian attacks on Ukraine includes strengthening the Ukrainian army, deploying European forces within the country and making greater use of American intelligence. This was reported by The New York Times, citing officials who said that American and European diplomats who met with Ukrainian leaders in Berlin over the past two days agreed on two documents outlining security guarantees. However, The New York Times points out that a comprehensive ceasefire seems unattainable at the moment, partly because Russia is not part of these negotiations.
