Milan, 17 Dec. (LaPresse) – Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that Moscow is ready to negotiate but that dialogue with current European leaders is unlikely. ‘The US administration is demonstrating such readiness. We are engaged in dialogue with them,’ Putin said at an enlarged meeting of the Defence Ministry Council, "I hope the same will happen in Europe. This is unlikely to happen with the current political elites. But in any case, it will be inevitable as we continue to strengthen our position. If not with the current politicians, then with a change in the political elites in Europe." This was reported by the Tass news agency.
