Rome, 17 December (LaPresse) – ‘We are in favour of helping Ukraine, including from a financial point of view, but we have doubts about the legal basis for using frozen Russian assets’. This was stated by Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani on the sidelines of the National Conference on Exports and Business Internationalisation. ‘This will be discussed in the Council, and we will express our doubts through the words of the Prime Minister,’ he added. ‘There may also be other financial instruments to help Ukraine.’
