Ukraine, Putin: “Ready to halt attacks on Ukraine on election day”

Turin, Dec. 19 (LaPresse) – Russia is ready to consider suspending attacks on Ukraine on the day of elections in the country, should they be called. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during his year-end press conference, broadcast live on television, according to the Russian news agency TASS. “I can say something that might surprise you. We are ready to consider measures to ensure security during the elections in Ukraine. At a minimum, to stop deep strikes in the territory on election day,” he explained.
