Rome, 21 December (LaPresse) – French President Emmanuel Macron has announced the start of work on the construction of a new French Navy aircraft carrier to replace the Charles de Gaulle. ‘It will be an example of the power of our nation, the power of industry and technology,’ Macron said, adding that he will personally visit the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire next February.
