Moscow, Dec. 21 (LaPresse) – Kyiv “is attempting to disrupt peace talks to resolve the Ukrainian crisis by attacking merchant ships and unmanned vessels in the Black Sea with drones,” said Yuri Pilipson, director of the Second European Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, in an interview with Tass. “The raids by the Kyiv regime in the Black Sea are clearly aimed at obstructing the painstaking work carried out to find mutually acceptable solutions to the Ukrainian crisis and at hindering the progress of the negotiation process, whose success is of particular interest to Ankara,” the diplomat added. Pilipson also emphasized that the periodic attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on energy and port infrastructure “not only harm the economic interests of Black Sea countries but also shake global energy markets.”
