Milan, Dec. 31 (LaPresse) – “We are preparing a meeting with our European partners on 3 January in a format of national security advisers. Representatives of more than 10 countries are expected to participate, along with NATO, the European Commission and the European Council. Our US partners are also expected to take part online.” This is what Ukrainian Defence Minister Rustem Umerov wrote in a post on social network X. “I informed the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, about the results of a phone call with our American and European partners,” Umerov added. “On the US side, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, US envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner took part in the call. On the European side, the national security advisers of the United Kingdom, Germany and France took part.” “We will continue to work on solutions that should lead to tangible results in the new year,” Umerov concluded.
