Rome, 11 January (LaPresse) – The Israeli Defence Forces have drawn up plans to launch new intensive military operations in Gaza in March. This was revealed by The Times of Israel, referring to an offensive that aims to push the yellow ceasefire line westwards, towards the enclave's coast, further expanding the IDF's control over the territory. The newspaper cites an Israeli official and an Arab diplomat and stresses that it will not be possible to proceed without the support of the United States, which is seeking to move the fragile ceasefire reached in October to a second phase that includes the disarmament of Hamas.
