Washington (US), 21 January (LaPresse) – ‘Under your leadership, the Alliance is stronger than ever.’ This was stated by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, addressing Donald Trump before their bilateral meeting in Davos. Rutte reassured the US president, who had questioned the capabilities and willingness of other Alliance members to support the United States if needed: ‘If the United States were ever under attack, your allies would be with you,’ Rutte assured him.
