Turin, 3 February (LaPresse) – Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, son of former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, is dead, or has been killed. This was confirmed by his political adviser Abdullah Othman Andurrahim, putting an end to years of speculation about his fate after the fall and death of the rais in February 2011. In a post published on social media, reported by Libya Observer, Andurrahim confirmed the death of Saif al-Islam, after hours of rumours circulating in Libya that Saif had been killed during armed clashes near al-Hamada.
