Washington (USA), Feb. 5 (LaPresse) – U.S. President Donald Trump defended Kristi Noem's work leading the Department of Homeland Security, despite recent events in Minneapolis. "Yesterday I gave an interview for the Super Bowl," Trump said, "Sir, do you intend to remove Kristi Noem from her position? No. I said, 'What should I do? We have the most secure border in the history of our country,'" Trump reported.
In his speech at the National Prayer Breakfast, Trump highlighted his efforts to reduce the crime rate in Washington D.C., arguing that the presence of National Guard troops has made the city safer. "For me, it is much nicer," Trump said. "You walk down the street and see three tall men with angry looks, but in reality, they are very kind. They get angry when they see criminals," the White House chief stated. "I really think I will probably make it" to heaven, "I mean, I’m not a perfect candidate but I’ve done a lot of good things for perfect people," Trump concluded.
