Jerusalem, Feb. 10 (LaPresse) – According to what was reported by the Israeli website Ynet, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had already received in April 2018 intelligence reports from the IDF that detailed a complete operational plan by Hamas for a coordinated, multi-front attack against Israeli military bases and civilian communities in southern Israel. According to Ynet, Netanyahu was provided with information on Hamas’ plans multiple times over the years, despite his repeated public denials. According to the documents cited by Ynet, the 2018 report posed the following question in the subtitle: "Is Hamas’ military wing building up its strength for a large-scale attack deep inside our territory?". The report stressed the seriousness of the threat, specifying that “the scope of the plan and its complexity are exceptional”.
