Milan, 10 February (LaPresse) – Talks between the United States and Iran are a good start, and mistrust regarding Washington's intentions and objectives must be eliminated. This is the assessment of Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, who held separate telephone conversations with his counterparts in Turkey, Egypt and Saudi Arabia to update them on the latest developments regarding the indirect talks held in Muscat, Oman. This was reported by the Iranian Foreign Ministry in a statement, according to which the foreign ministers of the countries in the region, while welcoming the start of the Muscat talks, stressed the importance of continuing these talks to reach a diplomatic solution and prevent an escalation.
