Rome, 10 February (LaPresse) – British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has stated that he will never ‘back down’ from the mandate ‘entrusted to me’ and will ‘never give up’ helping people. Speaking in Hertfordshire, the Labour leader described the past week as ‘a challenging one’ following the controversy that hit Downing Street after the publication of new files on the Epstein case. Starmer then attacked Nigel Farage's Reform UK party, according to British media reports. “The real battle being fought in politics is not within the Labour Party. It is with the politics of the right that challenges it,” he added, “the politics of division and grievance that will tear our country apart. That is the fight we are in, and I will continue to fight it for as long as I have breath in my body”.
