Washington (USA), 13 February (LaPresse) – The United States has granted a series of licences authorising five national and international oil companies to operate in Venezuela, including in the gas sector. According to a statement from the Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the licences were granted to BP, Chevron, Eni, Repsol and Shell, “authorising transactions related to oil or gas operations in Venezuela”.
