Pyongyang (North Korea), Feb. 19 (LaPresse) – North Korea has unveiled a new 600-millimeter multiple rocket launcher system capable of firing nuclear warheads. The North Korean news agency KCNA reports that the ceremony was also attended by leader Kim Jong-un. In his speech, the North Korean leader praised the weapon, calling it “the most advantageous weapon in the world for concentrated and super-powerful attacks,” and stated that the next congress will reveal plans to strengthen self-defense capabilities. “This is the most powerful targeted attack weapon in the world. The precision and power of tactical ballistic missiles and the multiple launch tube functions are perfectly combined in this weapon,” Kim said, calling it “a wonderful and fascinating weapon.”
