Turin, 23 February (LaPresse) – For the third consecutive day, university students have organised protests in several Iranian cities, chanting slogans against the Ayatollah regime and expressing their support for the exiled prince Reza Pahlavi. This was reported by Iran International. The protests began at least two universities in Tehran and then spread to Abadan, in western Iran, following the arrest of a professor. Protesters chanted slogans such as “Death to Khamenei” and images posted on social media show an Islamic Republic flag being burned. At several universities, including Tehran University, Basij paramilitary forces attacked students.
