Milan, 1 March (LaPresse) – The Iranian Revolutionary Guards claim to have attacked the US aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln in the waters of the Persian Gulf, in response to US and Israeli attacks that killed, among others, the country's supreme leader Ali Khamenei. ‘The US aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln was hit by four ballistic missiles,’ the Pasdaran said in a statement released to the Iranian media, ‘the land and sea will increasingly become the graveyard of terrorist aggressors.’
