Israel, six dead in Iranian attack on Beit Shemesh

Milan, Mar. 1 (LaPresse/AP) – Israel’s rescue service says the death toll from today’s attack on Beit Shemesh, in central Israel, has risen to six, with 23 people injured. The attack caused heavy damage to a bomb shelter in a residential building. The news was reported by The Times of Israel. The Israeli military (IDF) said the Home Front Command’s early warning system functioned as expected and was activated in Beit Shemesh before the sirens sounded. An investigation has been opened into the incident.
