Rome, 4 March (LaPresse) – Lou Qinjian, spokesperson for the fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress, said at a press conference that China and the United States should respect each other, pursue peaceful coexistence and mutually beneficial cooperation. The news was reported by the Global Times. ‘Facts show that China and the United States both have something to gain from cooperation and something to lose from confrontation,’ Lou said, adding that both sides could ‘work to lengthen the list of cooperation and shorten the list of problems.’
