Washington (USA), 4 March (LaPresse) – The House Oversight Committee investigating the Epstein case has asked Bill Gates, billionaire Leon Black and Kathryn Ruemmler, outgoing legal counsel for Goldman Sachs, to testify about their ties to the former financier who died in prison in 2019. This was reported by the Wall Street Journal. Letters sent by the committee's chairman, Republican James Comer, ask each of them to testify before the committee in the coming months. Yesterday, Comer reported that Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick had agreed to testify before the committee about his relationship with Epstein. Lutnick had previously denied having any relationship with the financier, but later admitted that he had visited his island with his family.
