Dubai (United Arab Emirates), 7 March (LaPresse/AP) – The Dubai Media Office has issued a statement on behalf of the city stating that ‘for the safety of passengers, airport staff and airline crew, operations at Dubai International Airport (DXB) have been temporarily suspended’. No official reason was given for the suspension of operations, which occurred after passengers took refuge in tunnels when they heard a loud bang.
