Turin, 10 March (LaPresse) – The Israeli Defence Forces claim to have completed a wave of air strikes against branches of the Al-Qard al-Hasan association, linked to Hezbollah and known to be used by the group as a parallel financial network. According to the army, yesterday's raids targeted several of the association's facilities and vaults. Over the past week, the IDF said, about 30 facilities belonging to the financial institution have been targeted across Lebanon. The army claims that the association is used by Hezbollah to store money, manage the salaries of its operatives, transfer funds from Iran and purchase weapons.
