Turin, 17 March (LaPresse) – The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) have reiterated their large-scale evacuation warning for southern Lebanon, urging civilians to move north of the Zahrani River. The warning was first issued on Thursday. ‘Hezbollah’s terrorist activities are forcing the IDF to act forcefully in that area, and we do not intend to harm you,’ said army spokesman Avichay Adraee. “Air raids are underway, as the IDF is operating with great force in the area. Therefore, for your safety, we urge you once again to evacuate your homes immediately and move straight away north of the Zahrani River,” he added. “Any movement southwards could put your lives at risk,” Adraee concluded. This is reported by The Times of Israel.
