Brussels, 17 March (LaPresse) – "Allegations that Ukraine is deliberately obstructing oil transport via the Druzhba pipeline are unfounded. The disruption is the result of recent Russian terrorist attacks on the pipeline and surrounding infrastructure. Ukraine is a reliable energy partner for the European Union and fully honours its commitments to the European Union. Despite the daily threats of ongoing missile and drone attacks from Russia, we are making every possible effort to repair the damage and restore operations, taking into account the impact on the pipeline itself, the surrounding infrastructure and the environment." This is what Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote in a letter addressed to the Presidents of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and the European Council, Antonio Costa.
