Dubai (United Arab Emirates), 18 March (LaPresse/AP) – Iranian state television has issued a threat, claiming that the Islamic Republic would attack oil and gas infrastructure in Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Iran specifically threatened Saudi Arabia’s Samref refinery and its petrochemical complex in Jubail. It also threatened the Al Hasan gas field in the United Arab Emirates, as well as petrochemical plants and a refinery in Qatar. The news comes after Iran stated that its South Pars gas field and related infrastructure had been the target of an attack this morning.
