This is according to the “Iran War Cost Tracker” website, which monitors the cost of the conflict to Washington in real time. The calculation – it is explained – is based on data provided by the Pentagon to Congress, namely $11.3 billion in the first six days plus $1 billion per day thereafter. In short, the war is costing the United States $11.5 per second.
