Rome, 20 March (LaPresse) – The number of meningitis cases linked to the outbreak in Kent, UK, has risen to 29, according to the UK Health Security Agency. Of these, 18 are confirmed cases and 11 are probable cases. All have been admitted to hospital. The agency adds that the outbreak is “still ongoing”. Meanwhile, long queues have formed outside the Vicarage Lane clinic in Ashford, one of the vaccination centres.
