Milan, March 21 (LaPresse) – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized in a phone call with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi that a prerequisite for ending the war and the conflict in the region is the immediate cessation of aggression by the United States and Israel, along with guarantees against its recurrence in the future. This was stated in a post by the Iranian embassy in India on the social platform X. Pezeshkian also proposed the establishment of a regional security framework made up of West Asian countries, aimed at ensuring peace and stability in the region through regional cooperation without foreign interference. Referring to India’s rotating presidency of BRICS, Pezeshkian called on the group to play an independent role in stopping aggression against Iran and safeguarding regional and international peace and stability.
