Pasdaran: ‘Total closure of the Strait of Hormuz if the US attacks power stations’

Frankfurt (Germany), 22 March (LaPresse) – The Iranian Revolutionary Guards have stated that, should power stations be targeted, the Strait of Hormuz would be ‘completely’ closed and would not be reopened until the facilities had been rebuilt. As reported by Al Jazeera, the Iranian armed forces have also stated that Israel’s power stations, energy infrastructure and information and communication technologies will be “extensively targeted” and that similar companies in the region with American shareholders will be “completely destroyed”. The Pasdaran added that power stations in countries in the region hosting US bases would be legitimate targets.
