Milan, Mar. 24 (LaPresse) – The Iranian Atomic Energy Organization (AEOI) reported that the grounds of the Bushehr nuclear power plant were hit during what it described as ongoing hostile actions by US and Israeli forces. The news was reported by the Irna news agency. The attack, which took place last night, did not cause financial, technical, or human losses, and no damage occurred to the various sectors of the plant. The AEOI stated that attacks on peaceful nuclear facilities constitute a “clear violation of international norms regarding the immunity of such centers from military actions,” warning of “dangerous consequences for regional security, particularly for countries bordering the Persian Gulf.”
