Washington (USA), Mar 29 (LaPresse) – The Pentagon is reportedly preparing for weeks of ground operations in Iran. This is reported by the Washington Post on its website. "If President Donald Trump approves the plans, such an operation would mark a new phase of the war, potentially much more dangerous for U.S. troops than the first four weeks," the Washington Post article reads. According to the WP report, any operation would not involve a large-scale invasion, but would rather focus on special operations missions and specific ground infantry operations. The report also states that, due to the high risk such operations would pose for American soldiers, it was not clear until Saturday evening whether Trump would approve such an operation.
