This was stated by Secretary of State Marco Rubio in an interview with ABC News. ‘If there are now new people in charge who have a more reasonable vision of the future, that would be good news for us, for them, for the whole world,’ he explained. ‘But we must also be prepared for the possibility, perhaps even the likelihood, that this is not the case.’ ‘There are people there who say the right things in private. But ultimately, we have to see whether these people will actually be in charge, whether they will have the power to deliver results. We will put them to the test.
