Milan, 3 April (LaPresse) – According to recent US intelligence assessments, reported to CNN by three sources familiar with the matter, around half of Iran’s missile launchers remain intact and thousands of attack drones are still in Iran’s arsenal, despite daily US and Israeli airstrikes. “They are still ready to unleash total chaos across the region,” said one of the sources, referring to Iran. The US intelligence estimate may also include launchers that are currently inaccessible, such as those buried underground by the bombing but not destroyed. According to two sources, thousands of Iranian drones are still in service, accounting for around 50% of the country’s drone capabilities. Information gathered in recent days also indicates that a large proportion of Iran’s coastal defence cruise missiles remain intact.
