Kuwait: Iranian attack damages desalination plant

Milan, 3 April (LaPresse/AP) – Kuwait has stated that an Iranian attack has damaged a desalination plant. Kuwait stated, without providing further details, that the attack on the desalination plant caused ‘material damage to some components of the plant’. Desalination provides most of the water for the Arab Gulf states and Iran, converting the salt water of the Persian Gulf into drinking water for the desert region.
