Rome, 21 Apr. (LaPresse) – An Iranian oil tanker is reported to have breached the US naval blockade by passing through the Strait of Hormuz. According to reports in the Iranian media, the vessel, owned by the National Iranian Tanker Company, is expected to arrive tomorrow on the island of Kharg. The tanker – as explained by the Tehran media – set sail at the end of March bound for Indonesia, where it was due to unload its cargo of two million barrels of crude oil before returning to Iran, bypassing the US naval blockade.
