Frankfurt (Germany), 25 April (LaPresse) – The Iranian army has stated that it will respond if the United States maintains its blockade of Iranian ports, describing it as “banditry” and “piracy”. Central Commander Khatam Al-Anbiya stated that if “the invading US military continues with the blockade, banditry and piracy in the region, it must be certain that it will face a response from the powerful Iranian armed forces”, the state-run Irib news agency reported. “We are ready and determined, and we are constantly monitoring the behaviour and movements of our enemies,” he added.
