This was stated by Argentine President Javier Milei, who on social media commented on the post by Argentine Foreign Minister Pablo Quirno: "In light of the recent public statements by senior officials of the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland regarding sovereignty over the Malvinas Islands – writes Quirno – Argentina reaffirms its sovereign rights over the Malvinas Islands, South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands".
