(LaPresse) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in a post on X, says he is ‘shocked by the attempted assassination’ of US President Donald Trump during a gala dinner in Washington. ‘Sara and I,’ he writes, ‘were shocked by the assassination attempt on President @realDonaldTrump last night in Washington, DC. We are relieved that the President and the First Lady are safe and unharmed. We send our best wishes for a full and speedy recovery to the injured police officer and pay tribute to the US Secret Service for their swift and decisive action.’
