Rome, 2 May (LaPresse) – Speaking at an event in Palm Beach, Florida, US President Donald Trump jokingly raised the possibility that the US might “take control of Cuba”. Trump added that any action regarding the Caribbean island would take place after operations in the Middle East had concluded because “I like to finish the job”. “On our return from Iran, we will ensure that one of our large ships, perhaps the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln, the largest in the world, approaches, stops about 100 metres from the coast, and they will say: ‘Thank you very much, we surrender’,” Trump declared.
