Milan, May 4 (LaPresse) – The former mayor of New York, Rudolph Giuliani, is hospitalized in critical but stable condition, his spokesperson said on Sunday, a few days after the Republican, with a hoarse voice, told the audience of his talk show that his voice was not "in perfect shape". The spokesperson, Ted Goodman, did not specify what caused Giuliani’s hospitalization, how long the 81-year-old has been in hospital, or what his prognosis is. "Mayor Giuliani is a fighter who has faced every challenge in his life with unwavering strength, and he is fighting with the same strength now," Goodman said in a statement. He added that Giuliani "remains in critical but stable condition".
