Hantavirus: Spanish man who tested positive is doing better, ‘Almost asymptomatic’

Madrid (Spain), May 15 (LaPresse) – The Spanish citizen who was aboard the MV Hondius and tested positive for Hantavirus “is doing better.” Health Minister Mónica García said this in an interview with the public broadcaster TVE. “He is almost asymptomatic,” she added. The 70-year-old man is in quarantine at the Gómez Ulla military hospital in Madrid, along with the other 13 Spanish passengers from the cruise ship. The others have all tested negative in PCR tests so far.
