Milan, 24 May (LaPresse/AP) – The Russian Ministry of Defence has confirmed that Moscow has used the Oreshnik hypersonic missile, adding that this was in retaliation for Ukrainian attacks on “civilian facilities on Russian territory”. Moscow claims to have struck Ukrainian ‘military command and control facilities’, air bases and military industry enterprises. It did not specify where the targets were located. Last night, the Kyiv region was hit by a massive Russian attack.
