Madrid (Spain), May 26 (LaPresse) – The investigating judge of Spain’s National Court, Jose Luis Calama, has agreed to postpone the questioning of former Spanish Prime Minister José Luis Rodriguez Zapatero to June 17–18. The hearing had originally been scheduled for June 2, but the former Socialist leader requested a delay due to the complexity of the case and the volume of documents collected by investigators. Zapatero is under investigation for influence peddling and other offences as part of the probe into the bailout of the airline Plus Ultra.
