Milan, 27 May (LaPresse) – Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has emphasised that Russian President Vladimir Putin is open to negotiations with the EU. "We shall see, because these discussions about negotiations, for now, resemble more a sort of pseudo-scholasticism, whilst the actions taken so far aim to exert further pressure on the Ukrainians, so that they fight and do not negotiate with anyone. That is the reality,‘ Peskov said, speaking to Izvestia. Peskov added that Europe “understands” the need for dialogue with Russia, but ’has only just begun to come to terms with it".
