Milan, 30 May (LaPresse) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has claimed responsibility for a raid on a Russian oil facility. “Another facility in the Russian oil industry has been hit: Armavir, in the Krasnodar region,” Zelensky wrote on X, describing it as “our new long-range sanctions – and this is happening 500 kilometres from our state border”. “We are rightly bringing the war back to where it started. Russia could have ended its aggression a long time ago, but instead chose to prolong it and carry it forward,” the Ukrainian president declared, concluding that “all forms of our sanctions – the legal ones and the long-range ones, which are entirely concrete – are helping to bring peace closer”.
