Rome, 10 June (LaPresse) – The Rimini Public Prosecutor’s Office will lodge an appeal against the acquittal of Louis Dassilva for the murder of Pierina Paganelli. The decision will be made once the grounds for the judgement have been filed, which is expected within 90 days. The verdict was delivered at the end of a deliberation lasting over 15 hours, during which the Assize Court, composed of two professional judges and six lay judges, examined thousands of pages of trial documents, including expert reports and witness statements.
