Rome, May 31 (LaPresse) – "I am not talking about people but about ideas, shared values and programs. I hope no one helps the left win by continuously attacking the government and the majority, because in that way you are playing into the hands of Schlein and Conte," said Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini in an interview with Il Giornale, responding to a question about the future of the movement created by former League general Roberto Vannacci. The League leader also spoke about electoral law reform: "What matters to me and to the majority of Italians is a law that allows whoever wins the elections, whoever it may be, to govern for five years without backroom deals. I leave it to experts and legal scholars to find the best solutions to achieve this goal. I am convinced not only that we will win again, but that the League will be decisive and much stronger than what the left and some pollsters hope."
