The conditions are not easy for us: they are probably more complicated for me than for her, it's not easy to play lobs.’ This was Sara Errani's immediate reaction to her victory in the first match of the WTA Finals doubles alongside Jasmine Paolini. Playing alongside a legend: ‘It's incredible, it's great to play with her,’ said Paolini. "If someone had told me a couple of years ago that I would be playing in the Finals in both singles and doubles, I wouldn't have believed them. Of course, I want to enjoy every moment. I think we played a great match today.‘ Errani and Paolini were more proactive than usual: ’We had to change something,‘ added Sara, ’we tried to be more aggressive, to do more serve and volley and to shorten the rallies."
